Message When I bought my Z it came with an aftermarket alarm that was ghetto rigged instead of a proper installation. After its removal the driver's window does not function. The switch still works and you can hear the click when the button is pressed, but neither the passenger or the driver's window go down by using the driver's door switch. The passenger window still rolls down via the passenger door switch.

I would like to remove my door panel to check the wiring behind it and figure out what is the culprit. I believe I know which wire was cut that is leading to the door but I am not 100% sure. To remove the door panel the window needs to be down to gain access to the screw cover for the pillar panel. Anychance to get around this? Any short cut to get the window down?

Thanks.

I have nightmares about that happening...I'd be the poor bastard you'd hear about on the news that gets killed by a softball-size chunk while spreading out my body over the hood and screaming "Nooo!" (Having a conversation about hail damage) - BradZ (FL) on March 25, 2005 at 9:56 PM

Tell your friend that you could take a dump, light it on fire and that would be hotter shit than his car. Probes suck, that's just all there is to it. - 300ZXpert (someday) on April 04, 2005 at 11:35 PM
